Welcome to day 1 of the 30 days of Virgo Life Audit! What do you think of when you think of your health? Are you happy where you find yourself? Are there things you want to change? The ability to move freely? Or is it something more all-encompassing–including the foods you put into your body, the exercise you practice each day, and everything else you expose yourself to in your life?
To me, health isn’t enough. I want OPTIMAL health, and that’s what I’m wishing for each of you, too.
We have the power to CHOOSE change! My teacher and father-in-law the Rav often said, “Consciousness is everything.” The moment we choose to bring consciousness to something that was otherwise unconscious, we give ourselves the power to choose differently. With awareness, we can redefine our reality above our circumstances and create something new and inspiring. This invitation to greater consciousness is happening for all of us in profound ways.
Today, direct your consciousness towards your health. Picture yourself in a radiant, strong, energized state and go for a walk around the block. And while you’re doing that say kind thoughts to yourself. Hold that image in your mind as we create a plan of action tomorrow. See you then!
Welcome to day 1 of the 30 Days of Virgo Life Audit! We are going to start with your health. As a wise man once said: "A healthy man wants a thousand things, a sick man only wants one." (Confucius, the wise man was Confucius.)
Over the years, I’ve learned that if I want to be the best wife, mother, friend, writer, and self, I need to put myself first. I know it sounds counter-intuitive (self before others?), but it’s really not. Self-care is not inherently self-ish. It can make all the difference in living your own full, creative life and being present in your loved ones’ lives. When we’re not feeling 100%, we can’t be our best selves. That’s why we owe it to ourselves and our families to protect and nurture our bodies.
And that’s why I want you to assess your health today.
What are the healthy things you are already doing? What are some areas you could work on adding more healthy habits? And are there things you’d like to stop doing in order to make room for healthier choices?

One of the great gifts in studying Kabbalah is that we become more aware of the energies around us. Each day, week, and month has its own unique energy with differing powers that inform us. This month of Virgo is one of the most consequential months of the year, full of the energy of deep transformation. Over the next 30 days, we will assess, evaluate, and rethink 10 of the most important areas of your life. First, we will look at what is working and what isn’t working. I will help you identify your desire – the thing that you really want for that area of your life–not the thing you only think you want, or think you should want, or what others think you should want. From there, you will make your plan. You’ll make it actionable, doable, and motivating. I’m so excited and grateful that you are all joining me on this journey to rethink, reframe, recalibrate, and re-energize your life.
