Lesson Highlights

  • Everything is about the connection between ourselves and the Light
  • Shemot is the coming into this world, our challenges and difficulties
  • The energy that keeps us alive
  • The tzelem is the conduit between the Light and each of us; It is perfected through positive actions and damaged through egotistical behavior
  • Our names are the vocal manifestation of the tzelem
  • Maintaining the connection to the Light prevents negativity from entering our lives

Lesson Description

Rav Yehuda Ashlag, founder of the Kabbalah Centre, explains that the story of Shemot is the personal Torah.  From this we understand that all the stories contained in it are not just related to historical events or to specific individuals, but instead they are the guidance we need at an individual level to walk the path of the Light in this physical world.

About This Course

Choosing to take on our responsibilities can be scary because it usually requires us to face scenarios we're uncomfortable with. With this week's energy of Shemot, we can draw in a mind over matter mindset to embrace challenges that will bring more Light into our lives in the long run.
