On Shavout we are given the gift of being able to "taste and see the Light is good". We also receive new senses and a new heart and the ability to become a completely new person, however that does not mean that we will receive them. As Michael explains, this shabbat we have the ability to taste secrets, to receive energy and not just wisdom from our study and spiritual work. On Shavuot we worked to become a completely new person. On this shabbat, with the assistance of the Baal Shem Tov, we can begin to recieve that tremendous gift.
Sometimes we can get stuck in our linear, logical pathways of thinking instead of opening ourselves up to other ways that can get us to our desired end results. This week’s energy offers us the chance to achieve our dreams without having to go through the normal processes. If you knew you could leap forward into your better self, how would you make it happen? Make that your focus this week.
