Lesson Highlights

  • Negative speech shuts us off from the Light of the Creator
  • Changing nega to oneg
  • Living a significant life

Lesson Description

When we speak negatively about others we connect to the same shell of negativity that was present in the Garden of Eden during the sin of Adam creating a blockage that prevents us from receiving the full amount of Light we are meant to receive. This shabbat we have an important decision to make. As Michael explains, the small actions that we do not consider important are actually very important. If we want blessings in our lives and the ability to fully support others when they need assistance, we need to choose to be significant in all areas of our life. This means that even the small actions like negative speech become important.

About This Course

One of the major spiritual connections kabbalists make on the Sabbath is the reading of a weekly Bible portion. These consciousness lectures present lessons on each week's portion to elevate our consciousness and create awareness of the spiritual energy and gifts that are available through the reading of a Torah Scroll. With greater awareness and an awakened consciousness, we can connect to the Light revealed each week and use it as support in our ongoing spiritual work.
