Lesson Highlights

  • Loving thy neighbor as thyself is the essence of all our spiritual work
  • Shifting our consciousness: being energized by taking care of others and feeling their pain
  • Embracing opposition: sharing Kabbalah
  • Giving anonymously: our spiritual actions are between us and the Light
  • Freedom: not desiring anything for ourselves alone

Lesson Description

Kabbalists teach that "loving our neighbor as we love ourselves" is the essence of our spiritual work. In the combined portion of Acharei-Mot – Kedoshim, Eitan shows us how taking care of others, knowing and feeling their pain and letting go of our personal desires shifts our consciousness, allowing us to become like the Light and receive freedom and blessings.
