Life is a paradox. We all know that sometimes the things we desire are not necessarily the things we need in life. The question is: how do we see beyond this paradox? One of the powerful messages that Karen Berg shared with us in connection to this weekly biblical portion is, “The journey into spirituality is the journey into the spirit. Spirituality is the process of honoring and nurturing the spirit, not just the needs of the body. This week, the universe calls to us to go within and hear the needs of our spirit.”

The current cosmic settings and the weekly kabbalistic secrets are always aligned in a powerful way. Let’s see how the cosmos shows up to support us with following the journey into the spirit this week.

In the beginning of the week, there is a clear battle between the fixed signs. The sun, Mercury, and Venus in Uranus are strongly placed in the sign of Taurus, creating challenging aspects with the moon, Jupiter, and Saturn in Aquarius. This challenging cosmic setting between fixed signs is a repetitive pattern that takes place in many weeks and months throughout this year, signifying the human challenge of going with the flow and adjusting to changes, different opinions, and points of view. The challenge for all of us this week is to see beyond what appears wrong to us or what seems unfair, unreasonable, or practically illogical. This is when we most need to remember that if we want to grow and evolve spiritually, we need to seek beyond what we see on the surface. Look beyond the illusion of the five senses and physical consciousness, and overcome this cosmic challenge by stepping into the spiritual realm. Seek deeper and more spiritual meaning behind each challenge.

As the week progresses (Friday and Saturday), there is a potential relief. Venus creates a better flow with Pluto and will help us seek for better compromise, have tolerance and openness, and desire to create more harmony with our environment and those who might have presented a challenge before. This combination can also open the door to solve issues that are rooted in the far past, allowing us to heal any pain that is rooted in past relationships. As Venus moves into Gemini at the end of the week, there is additional support to exit the fixed and harsh energy of the beginning of the week and create better communication and flow that will affect us in the upcoming few weeks.

The cosmos will support us and help us in taking a deep breath, so we can feel safer and more secure as we progress into the following week. All of this is possible if we decide to look for what is beyond what we see on the surface. Let’s get out of our stiff, stubborn, and narrow-minded outlook and tap into the needs of our spirit.
