Purim is a time for celebration, with the energy available to assist you in removing the metaphysical veils that create the illusion of separation. Purim, more than any other holiday, helps you to see that we are all truly one.

The Kabbalists teach that by giving generously this month and during the 24 hours of Purim itself, you can awaken protection for the next 12 months and reveal immense Light in the world.

Here are 3 powerful ways you can activate sharing and giving to awaken the unique Light available during the month leading up to & on Purim:

The consciousness of Purim is to connect to a reality beyond any lack, where no one is above or better than the other, with the ultimate goal to feel it’s a merit to give without any ego. When you give gifts to the poor, without ego, you can establish your vessel for unity for the whole year.

This year, The Kabbalah Centre will pay it forward by partnering with charity: water, with a percentage of these donations going toward providing clean water to people in need. This global non-profit organization, in partnership with World Vision, has the goal to make sure that every single person on the planet has access to clean and safe drinking water.

Give Gifts to the Poor

The kabbalists recommend giving charity, or tzedaka, in the month leading up to and on Purim. The Ari explains that Purim is the one day of the year to give without hesitation or calculation to anyone who asks for your assistance or charity. The reason being that when you act this way on Purim, the Universe acts this way towards you in return because the gates of abundance are completely open.

Give Charity

On the 24-hours of Purim, we take part in the Half a Shekel, machatzit hashekel, connection, where you give a set amount per person equal to the value of a half a silver coin, $9 USD this year. Your consciousness during this action should be to see more than just half the picture, to see further than what is possible with your limited senses. You can ask for support to let go of control and strengthen your certainty in the Creator’s desire to assist you.

Give Half a Shekel

As we embark upon this unique season of giving charity during the month of Pisces and on Purim, watch as Michael shares insightful consciousness to keep in mind through your actions of sharing:

As Michael shares, Pisces is the one time of the year when our actions of charity, or tzedaka, are most powerful. It’s a time when spiritual protection can be activated for the next 12 months through the consciousness we uphold when giving charity and connecting to the holiday of Purim.

Every act of giving, no matter the amount, makes an impact during this powerful season of sharing.
