Astrology Forecast for the Month of Scorpio 2016

Hi everyone! We are happily (hopefully!) starting our second Scorpio week! So far, so good!

This week brings more seriousness, since the moon is conjunct with Pluto in stern Capricorn at the start of the week. This is no light business—we need to make sure all our facts are straight, and no goofing around for now! It’s all about work, work, and results.

Let’s remember we are ALL sensitive and influenced by this atmosphere during the whole month. So, these ideas are not only for those of you born under Scorpio, with Scorpio rising, or with a Scorpio moon—they are for everybody! To spice up the forecast, here are, as promised, some funny facts about Scorpios.

Scorpio is here… Here comes the boiling water: handle with care! Scorpio is the fire of the water, so peace doesn’t seem to ever find them (or us this month!). How peaceful can boiling water possibly be? And of course, the month is ruled by Mars and co-ruled by Pluto, no peace in that either! The least we can say about them is that they are intense, indeed. Nothing is ever gray for a Scorpio—life is either black or totally white (though white is rare!).

Scorpios are renowned for their amazing instincts in business and people. But they are, by far, the most tormented personalities of the zodiac, since the water and the fire in them never agree with each other. The best way to use these energies is definitely giving them greater challenges and responsibilities, where their “steam” will be more than welcome.

Take care and always show a Scorpio strict boundaries, otherwise their desire and sense of control can become extremely difficult to live with. Because of their great internal turmoil, Scorpios often enter states of crisis, which can be very destructive to the people around them, particularly the people they love. While the Scorpio will rise like the phoenix after a crisis, his loved ones will remain in the pit for weeks!

Scorpios are known in so many ways for their great acts of fearlessness and courage. In the real battles of life, however, they are plagued with very intense internal fears—you name it: failure, judgment, and not being loved. That’s when Scorpios will enter survival mode and pretty much destroy everything and everyone around them.

They need a lot of love, but it is very difficult to love them when they are so controlling and judgmental. Their sharp eye will notice things most people never even imagined.

Contrary to common belief, they are not always right in what they see, because their fears can really distort reality.

In zoology, the scorpion is practically blind and directs himself by instinct. A mother Scorpion will carry her kids on her back, but in a time of famine she will actually eat them!

Three types of Scorpios exist in the kabbalistic tradition. In order of spiritual growth they are the snake, the scorpion, and the eagle. There is a belief that King David was a Scorpio (a warrior and a poet). Generally, male Scorpios are more loyal than their female counterparts, and are likely to stay in a relationship that doesn’t work for a very long time in the hopes they can fix it, or just out of pure loyalty.

A considerable population of Scorpios are slightly (or more!) paranoid (Joseph McCarthy was a Scorpio). That’s why they make excellent detectives and politicians! It’s very difficult to discover a Scorpio’s lie; they take their secrets to the grave! But they do lie a lot, or lie by omission. It’s almost impossible to know any Scorpio one hundred percent.

The best way for a Scorpio to work is to have someone much stronger and whom they respect above them. That’s how they become great warriors!

Disclaimer: always be aware of a Scorpio who becomes silent. Something bad must be cooking!

Famous and infamous Scorpios:

  • Bill Gates – founder of Microsoft, currently the richest man in the world
  • Albert Camus – wrote The Stranger, philosopher and existentialist
  • Claude Monet – French Impressionist painter
  • Jonas Salk – Scientist discovered the cure for polio
  • Josef Goebbels – Hitler's minister of propaganda
  • Margaret Mitchell – wrote Gone with the Wind
  • Marie Curie – famous French physicist who discovered radium
  • Charles Manson – Mass Murderer
  • Louis Stevenson – author of Strange Case of Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde and Treasure Island (that’s sooooo Scorpio!)
  • Pablo Picasso – famous Spanish painter
  • General George Patton – Senior officer of the US Army during World War II
  • Joseph McCarthy – Leader of the Red Scare Movement in the early 1950s
  • Voltaire – French writer and philosopher
  • Mahmoud Ahmadinejad – president of Iran from 2005 to 2013
  • Mohammad Reza Shah Pahlavi – the Shah of Iran from 1941 to 1979
  • Alan Shepard – first American astronaut to go into space

Have a wonderful week and month!

Love and Light,

Yael
