This week, we prepare to enter a very powerful cosmic window of time known as Pesach, or Passover. It's not a tradition and it's not a holiday; it is a cosmic event that invites us to connect to the energy of freedom. At this time, we can break away from bondages of all kinds. Perhaps you are subjected to something you don't want in your life anymore. Or maybe you find yourself acquiescing to situations. This is the time to break free from all of that.
Passover occurs during the month of Nissan (April). The ruling planet is Mars and the astrological sign is Aries. At the time of the exodus Egypt, the Israelites received the ability to change their destiny. At Passover we can reveal the positive side of Mars, which is the power of rejuvenation. This month, the astrological aspects enable us to bring about change at the root level and remove selfish desires.
With the help of the cosmos and the planets, we have one of the most anticipated planetary aspects to help us achieve what Passover is all about: Saturn in Pisces. This aspect offers us freedom from the desire to receive for the self alone and it is one of the most important transits of the year. Saturn goes into Pisces once every 30 years and stays in the sign for 2.5 years. In Pisces, Saturn will join forces, helping us turn those dreams into realities. It's an opportunity to achieve true freedom so we can create a completely new reality.
Saturn in Pisces is a complete shift in energy. Pisces' agenda is not to build or manifest. Pisces is a water sign that is associated with intuition, spirituality, and creative expression. Pisces and Saturn are VERY different. Saturn is structured and goal-oriented. Pisces is dreamy, spiritually connected, and goes with the flow. To Pisces, there's no "one way" to go about things. Life is a journey, not a destination. Saturn, on the other hand, seeks to find a deeper, more concealed meaning in life. It's not about being a slave but truly connecting to your inner freedom.
Saturn is in the same sign every 29-30 years. So the last time Saturn was in Pisces was from 1993 to 1996, and the time before that was from 1964 to 1967. These time periods marked great change and shifts towards more widespread freedom. Rav Berg explains that on the first night of Passover, the universe is free from the chains of destiny. Only on this night can we access the cosmic assistant to exchange the movie we are playing out for a better one. Anyone can reboot their lives, as if by a magic wand. This is the gift of Passover.
