In the story of Ki Tetze, we are told to "remember" (Deuteronomy 25:17). Rav Berg reveals how the Israelites forgot the miracles that occurred during their escape from Egypt due to their Desire to Receive. Similarly, our own Desire to Receive creates uncertainty and dissatisfaction, but is also necessary to draw energy. Our Desire to Receive is a vessel by which we receive the energy of freedom through the reading of this Torah portion and the tools of Kabbalah.
