Lesson Description

Rav Berg discusses the underlying consciousness of the Half Shekel Connection of Purim as described in the Bible on Shabbat Shekalim: that no individual in this world is a complete entity on his or her own, and thinking that we can accomplish our spiritual transformation by ourselves is the root cause of uncertainty. By acknowledging that we can only achieve anything in this world through a consciousness of interconnectivity with others, we fulfill the precept of “Love thy neighbor as thyself,” create circuitry, and tap into absolute certainty.
