The holiday of Tu B’Shevat is considered the New Year of the Trees, a day of joy and unity that bestows us with the energy to rise above obstacles. Like the trees, we too plant seeds with our words, our every action, and even our thoughts. This is a tremendous opportunity to teach kids about the spiritual laws of cause and effect. In this video for children, we explore the true meaning of Tu B’Shevat through a fun art project your kid will love.
The 15th day of the month of Aquarius (Shevat) is designated as the new year of trees. On this day, the Plant Kingdom receives spiritual nourishment for the entire year. Tu b'Shevat is our opportunity to connect with the consciousness or energy intelligence of trees and the ability of plants to defy gravity, which assists us in resisting the gravitational pull of our ego.
