During the cosmic window of Sukkot we construct our spiritual vessel, designed to contain the immense amount of Light that we worked to attain on Rosh Hashanah and Yom Kippur. This holiday is where we unify our world with the outer reaches of space, by seeing the stars through the top of the Sukkah, a temporary structure we spend as much time in as possible during these seven days. Sukkot is the window of time that allows us to draw the Surrounding Light of (Chochmah) Wisdom and Mercy (Chesed) into our being.
