Astrology Forecast for September 28 - October 4, 2014

Hi everyone! And so the cosmic New Year is behind us now! With all the efforts we’ve been making in the past few weeks, our first brick in building a better future is already in place. Thank God! What should we do now? What is our next cosmic plan of attack?

When we closely study this week’s chart we notice several amazing points:

First of all, we have a beautiful trine between Jupiter, Mars, and Uranus, which will give every one of us a great energetic push in getting things done (Mars), in making the changes we really need (Uranus), and in growing in every way (Jupiter). The trine is between three fire signs, so it’s a great and powerful injection of energy! A trine, or triangle, in the science of astrology creates a strong energetic flow, which pushes us in the right direction and gives us fuel to be action oriented (fire). Trines are also associated with unity, optimal communication, and movement. And that’s a wonderful gift crowning all our efforts of the past month.

The second observation is about Earth’s satellite; the moon is in intense and powerful Scorpio at the start of the week. The best way to grasp the meaning of this is by imagining ourselves wearing an infrared pair of glasses to help us see in the dark! Kabbalistically, this cosmic time is about self-examination and, most importantly, about hitting our potential. Why and how?

Let’s imagine a random person stopping us in the street and saying, “Look, I have a special gift. I can see the future. And you will be the next leader or president in your country! Without any doubt!” What would we say? Yeah right… what are you talking about? You must be dreaming!

Here’s the thing: spiritually speaking, in every one of us lies a superhero! That’s why many of us love the Superman and Spiderman series. They resonate with us. We totally love it when good vanquishes evil. What did we believe when we were three or four years old? We believed we could fly, save everyone, and be a truly amazing, meaningful person.

Our beloved teacher, Rav Berg, used to always say, “They (meaning the cosmos) picked me for the job of spreading Kabbalah in the world. But the truth is, they could have picked anyone.” It feels hard to believe that any one of us could have lived Rav Berg’s life, right?

Unfortunately, a long time ago we stopped believing all the astonishing things we could do because life eroded us somehow.

A very interesting experiment illustrates this point. Scientists decided to test fleas by placing them in a simple cup, and then just observed them. In seconds, the fleas started jumping higher and higher until they finally escaped the cup. The same experiment was conducted after placing a lid on the cup. What do we think happened? After one day, the lid was removed and a big surprise shook the scientists: the same fleas were conditioned to jump only to the top and couldn’t escape the cup anymore! What is the amazing lesson here? The fleas are just like us. Every time we run into an obstacle, we reduce our desires, our hopes, and expectations, instead of keeping our goals high and trying harder.

Right now, we are entering a cosmic time where just the opposite needs to happen!

We are still in the process of building a stronger and healthier desire until the end of October, which is the end of the lunar Libra month. Not only is the cosmos supporting our growth, but it’s also clarifying and reinforcing our realization and understanding about how much MORE we can do!

This week, we need to remember who we are and what we are capable of. Perhaps many of us were not encouraged or even made aware of our potential, but we all have loved ones and great friends we have earned in our lives. It’s time to ask them for help. Interestingly, the astrological house of friends and helpers is packed with energy and planets. What a coincidence!

What is our homework, practically speaking?

Let’s start our days this week with a simple five-minute meditation about our past dreams and our true potential, and share it with our close loved ones. Let’s feel again how truly invincible we are, and how powerful we have been so far. This is a very important building block for the whole year to come, so don’t miss it! Dream big! This week, dream in Technicolor and listen to your soul!
