Gilberto was born and raised in San Juan, Puerto Rico. From a young age, he was interested in helping others; he pursued this care for others by going to medical school and becoming a physician. In 2008, while doing his residency in San Juan, a good friend invited him to a Kabbalah One introductory class that completely changed his life. So much so that when Gilberto graduated from his dermatology residency, he moved to the USA to be closer to a Kabbalah Centre and dive deeper into the study of the wisdom.
Before finding Kabbalah, Gilberto had studied different forms of religions and spirituality, but none resonated completely with him and he began to lose the hope of ever finding a spiritual path. Kabbalah, however, opened his mind to a realization: that as long as we are breathing, we have a spiritual path. Moved by the results that the teachings of Kabbalah have brought to his life, Gilberto feels a strong sense of paying it forward and truly believes that teaching Kabbalah is one of the best ways to bring joy and peace to the world. He currently lives in New York City, where he has his own Dermatology office, is an assistant clinical professor at NYU, and teaches at the NY Kabbalah Centre.
