  • Bat Shin: Shabbat is the daughter of the shin, representing the Three Column System
  • Connecting to the unified whole on shabbat

  • After the revelation at Mount Sinai we gained the ability to connect to the Light from our own actions

  • Activity takes us out of "rest"
  • Not creating a vacuum (chalal) on Shabbat
