This week’s portion deals with reincarnation. The idea of reincarnation is that nothing is really lost. According to Kabbalah, we reincarnate until we learn how to connect and create unity with the Lightforce of the Creator—the source of all blessings, without barriers. But there is even a deeper understanding. Like the law of energy, situations and people never really disappear from our lives; they just take on a different form until we learn how to activate the Light in them. Then, they can become the biggest blessings in our lives.
We are in the last week of Shevat, and we can receive support to access our potential. On Sunday, the moon in adventurous Sagittarius squares Saturn, which is an opportunity for us to make a connection between vision and life. It is never a good time to escape reality through alcohol or drugs, particularly now! It is, on the other hand, a great time to appreciate your life and create magic.
On Monday, Mercury moves from Capricorn to Aquarius. This happens every year, but this year, the move is more intense. As Mercury changes signs, it also conjunct Pluto, which begins its journey of 20 years into Aquarius. Pluto intensifies everything. Mercury is about communication, the words we speak, how we listen, how we process information, and also about our connections with our siblings.
Pluto represents death and rebirth, just like reincarnation. When we have a celestial body (especially the sun or the moon) in early degrees of Aquarius, there is great transformation. Also, if you have planets in early degrees that are aspecting Aquarius, you receive an opportunity for transformation. Pluto and Mercury give us power and the ability to take control. The question here is: what are we trying to control? The sun reaches 15 degrees in Aquarius this week, which is the most stubborn degree in the zodiac. Do not hold on to opinions, but allow yourself to listen to others without resentment. Open your heart for connections. It's not about being right or wrong but about activating the heart and human connections.
