The “Book of Formation,” or Sefer Yetzirah, is an ancient book attributed to Abraham the Patriarch that delves into the creation of the world. It contains one of the earliest depictions of the tetragrammaton and the ten sefirot, or emanations, of God. Join us for an inspiring 3-part course as we explore the renowned scholar Shabtai Donolo’s commentary on the broad array of teachings from the Sefer Yetzirah, a commentary which has never before been taught in the Centre. We’ll discover the origin of astrology and the spiritual essence of planets, the Hebrew alphabet, and the divine creation of humankind. We’ll learn about the similarities in composition between the stars, the Creator, and humanity. And we’ll awaken appreciation for the divine nature of everything in existence, including ourselves and our fellow man.
