Reaching the Light of the Divine

We are sometimes in such a hurry that we forget to experience those little moments of thoughtfulness, which, had we paused for them, might have saved us and others a great deal of hurt. Sometimes we are in such a rush that we forget that kindnesses along the way have more value than the goal we are trying to reach.

Our life is, in essence, only a bundle of the things we have done that have brought pleasure to others. And it is in these moments that we reach the Light of the Divine.

Today, take minute to stop and ask yourself: Am I showing up for the people around me, seeing how I can help to make the day better for them? Or am I thinking only about myself and what I need to get done?

Simple questions, yes, but if properly considered, they can change your destiny or someone else’s.
