This week there are many shifts in the cosmos. Towards the end of the week, on Thursday evening, we will experience the New Moon for the month of Sagittarius. In addition, Venus and Mercury also shift to different signs at the end of the week—Venus into the sign of Capricorn and Mercury into Scorpio.
We will be challenged with the element of trust this week. We start the week with positive elements: Mercury forms a supporting aspect to Jupiter, which brings a lot of hope, trust, and optimism. This can push us to speak up, open up, share ideas, and trust in our friends, environment, and our general place in life right now.
Though, very quickly, the energy shifts, and on Tuesday, Mercury forms a more challenging aspect with Pluto, which leads us to question everything right away and can potentially increase lack of trust and desire to investigate more deeply. We may find ourselves questioning the very things we felt strongly about the day before. We have to understand that this influence is temporary cosmic “weather,” and our work is to overcome this illusion and seemingly confusing aspect.
As the energy of the New Moon in Sagittarius enters the horizon, we can gain better clarity again. Sagittarius is a more optimistic sign of spiritual awareness and growth. With the movement of Mercury and Venus into new signs (Scorpio and Capricorn) and the beneficial aspect formed between them, there is potential for a stronger sense of trust—trust in ourselves, trust in our friends, trust in the direction of our lives, and trust in the Creator’s ultimate positive intentions. What the Creator has in store will only support our growth and spiritual evolution in this lifetime.
