Speak the Truth

After the Scorpio-Taurus eclipse season, I think we can all breathe deeply again. Sagittarius is a sign of hope and faith, which is what we all need at the moment. Have faith that everything happens for a reason, and that we are on the right path, moving toward our destination of happiness, joy, success, and love.

In the United States, the New Moon of Sagittarius also falls on Thanksgiving. And thanks is what we need to say. The eclipse season in Taurus and Scorpio may have left us wounded with many painful truths to process. There were many layers wrapped around ourselves in the hopes that they would protect us. How painful to discover that this cloth was meaningless! Like the emperor’s new clothes! When everyone saw the emperor marching proudly, they all clapped because they were afraid to speak the truth. Only one brave child yelled, “The king is naked!”

Now is the time to admit that the clothes are not really there and that we clung to them because we were scared. Each and every one of us was asked to see the truth. We are afraid to deal with our emotions because we don’t want to feel the pain. However, every emotion that we don’t want to deal with keeps us in the same negative cycle. We promise ourselves, “I will never love again,” or “I will never trust again.” We declare, “Money is corrupt, I don’t need it,” or “I don’t need friends,” or “I don’t care about my success.” We lament that life is unfair. Yet, emotions create reality—a reality we don’t like. At this time, it is easier to recognize these things. This month, even though we probably have a way to go, we can move forward, see things more clearly, recognize patterns that prevent us from growing, and walk away from them.

The day after the New Moon, Jupiter, the planet that rules Sagittarius, will go direct after a couple of months of being in retrograde. That shift will allow us to see the Light we thought we lost when we felt like everything was crashing down around us. That shift will bring hope that will connect us with positive energy and ultimately usher in good news.

Mercury and Venus are in conjunction in the sign of Sagittarius at the chart of the New Moon. This can stimulate our appreciation for beauty, art, and music and help us see the world through rose colored glasses. We may feel the urge to go into nature and appreciate the greatness of the creation. Being outside in nature can release a lot of stress and help us to relax. It can also ill-stimulate our desire for justice. And because Mars is in retrograde in Gemini, it is very easy for us to load up our guns and shoot.

Remember: we don’t always see the whole picture. Try to give others the benefit of the doubt. Think before you speak. Learn to listen. Mars in retrograde will not offer the patience, but since we are spiritual people, we can win that battle. The lack of energy to listen, plus the desire for justice, can bring arguments. But if we learn to listen and we are open to the possibility that others may be right, we can solve many of the arguments.

Mars is retrograde in Gemini and trine Saturn in Aquarius at the time of the New Moon.

A trine is considered to be a harmonic relationship between planets. Gemini and Aquarius have intellectual energy. When Mars is difficult to control (and especially when they are really nervous in retrograde), Saturn has the ability to control him. So if you are trying to work on a project or any task that requires discipline, and feel that you have no patience, just sit and breathe for a minute to help Saturn balance that energy, so you get back on track. This transit also gives us the power to overcome whatever comes our way.

Jupiter is stationary in Pisces and trine Pluto in Capricorn at the time of the New Moon.

This is a great aspect to make positive changes in our personal and social lives. Just make sure that the changes you want in your life are coming from positive motivation and not as a reaction.

Jupiter (the ruler of Sagittarius) is a sign of truth and plenty. And Pluto represents transformation. So if we follow our truth when making decisions, not doing things out of obligation, fear, or expectation, things will open up and move forward.

We are living in an important time. Society and the world as we know it are about to change. The stronger we are from within, the more layers we remove, the more courage we will have to know who we truly are. We are getting closer to our true potential and strength and therefore, to our true happiness.
