3,400 years ago, Moses descended from Mount Sinai with the Ten Utterances (Commandments) and the Torah, powerful channels of Light that allow us to connect to the life force of the Creator. The holiday of Shavuot was revealed on this day, the 6th of Sivan, because only on this day is the complete union of the masculine and feminine aspects of the Light of the Creator achieved, revealing the seed level of immortality.

Traditionally, Shavuot commemorates the giving of the Torah, by the Creator, to the Israelites. Kabbalists approach the holiday of Shavuot with the consciousness of removing negativity and fostering abundance in our lives by connecting to a source of Light that is available on only one day out of the year: the supernal Light of Keter. Through kabbalistic practices, we can connect to a force of Light energy powerful enough to remove all chaos from our lives for the rest of the year.
