Are you like matzah or are you like bread?

During Pesach, we connect to matzah. One of the reasons we do this is because it doesn’t change form. Bread, like our ego, rises. But matzah stays the same. Our goal is to be like matzah – we don’t change anything because we know all is coming from the Light of the Creator.

Two people may be in the same situation, but one is sad and the other happy. One, like the bread, is ruled by ego, and the other, like the matzah, remains unaffected by the external circumstances because they see the Light of the Creator within it. Through the gift of matzah, we can come to understand that it is not the situation we find ourselves in that causes pain and suffering, but rather only one thing: whether we see the Light of the Creator in it or not.

When we are experiencing a challenge and know with certainty, like the matzah, that it’s coming from the Light of the Creator, we receive the greatest blessing. But if we just try to get through it, not seeing that it’s from the Light, we will reveal some Light but nowhere near the amount we were meant to have.

Prayer of the Poor: Pesach Prayer Book

Prayer of the Poor, according to the Zohar, is the most important prayer. It is the prayer that bypasses all others and receives immediate attention from the Creator. Just as pressing numbers on a telephone connects us to another person, the Prayer of the Poor prayer book series contains specific codes that provide a connection to different aspects of the Light. These revised and updated editions include English translations of Rav Isaac Luria (the Ari’s) meditations, and transliterations of all the Hebrew prayers. As Rav Berg states in the introduction, "Our purpose in presenting [these prayer books] is so that each person can now begin to remove chaos from his or her life."

The Prayer of the Poor: Kabbalistic Pesach Prayer Book is the technology through which we connect with the energy available during Pesach, which is when we have a chance to escape from the prison of our ego, fear and insecurities.

The Kabbalah Haggadah: Pesach Decoded

To paraphrase the question most commonly associated with the Pesach Seder meal: Why is this Haggadah different from all other Haggadah? The Kabbalah Haggadah offers far more than the traditional Hebrew text and English translation of the Exodus from Egypt. This book decodes each part of this ancient work from a Kabbalistic perspective. With this knowledge, readers and Seder participants can easily take advantage of the window of opportunity that Pesach offers as a way to remove challenges and develop more fulfillment.

Kabbalah Connection: Preparing the Soul for Pesach
by Kabbalist Rav Berg

Kabbalistically, ego is the source of evil, destruction and suffering in this world. It is the aspect of our nature that separates us from the Light of the Creator, and from our destiny of happiness. The Kabbalah Connection describes the powerful spiritual technology of Pesach built into the system of Creation to help us gain control over the ego.

Utilizing metaphysics and physics, The Kabbalah Connection explains the consciousness we can utilize on the eve of Pesach, so we can remove the ego and open ourselves up to the Light. This is a necessary step for achieving spiritual fulfillment
