We are in one of the most important transits of the year: North Node conjunct Chiron in Aries. When slow-moving outer planets meet in a conjunction, it is always very important. Chiron takes 50 years to orbit the sun, while the Nodes take 27 years. The last time Chiron and North Node met in a conjunction was in 2008. That was a very important and decisive year for humanity.
“Chiron is said to be our deepest wound but also our greatest gift.”
In astrology, Chiron represents the wounded healer, and the lunar nodes represent our karmic journey. The South Node represents our past karma. On the other hand, the North Node represents how we can correct the past and our potential for change. Chiron is said to be our deepest wound but also our greatest gift. As we enter the energy of the portion Vayakhel, we are reminded of the energy of Chiron.
This portion of Vayakhel is about the building of the Tabernacle in the desert, which was meant to amend the energy of the Golden Calf. Until that time, all the firstborn sons were to be priests. When the Golden Calf was created and worshipped, a lot of positive energy was removed. Therefore, the right of the firstborn son to be a priest was given exclusively to the tribe of Levy. At the seed, Levy is the tribe from which the kohanim and those responsible for the attributes of the Mishkan and the Temple came. Therefore, they restore the energy that was removed during the time of the Golden Calf.
“This week… we have the opportunity to erase that karmic debt and free ourselves from all wounds, fears, and restrictions.”
This is primarily related to abandonment and rejection. The Chiron wound still exists since that time, and we are here to correct it. When people are not happy with themselves or with the place they’re at in their lives, they unconsciously find flaws in everything they do. This week, with these amazing planetary combinations and the energy of the portion, we have the opportunity to erase that karmic debt and free ourselves from all wounds, fears, and restrictions. It’s through taking responsibility for our past mistakes that we can overcome the wound to ultimately reveal our unique gifts.
