Evil speech, or gossiping, is one of the worst things you can do to your soul. It brings negativity to the person doing the gossiping, to the person who is being gossiped about, and to the person who is listening to the gossip.

Trash talk is one of the most powerful forces of negativity we can invoke—and therefore one of the hardest to cleanse—according to the Zohar.

Avoid it as much as possible.
