It’s important to remember that the reason we owe forgiveness to others is because being a spiritual person is a gift. It’s almost like a talent. Either you’re drawn to it with an ability to understand and tap into it or you’re not. Just like you can’t be mad at someone for being a bad singer, you can’t be upset with someone because they’re not spiritual.

Forgiveness isn’t about understanding the other person. It’s about understanding how lucky we are and how often we take being spiritual for granted in our lives.
