Scorpios get a bad rap, don’t they? They are known for being controlling, vengeful, and destructive, but they are also extremely loyal, determined, and when focused can accomplish things few others can. Scorpios also have the potential to be the most spiritual sign because they have the biggest correction to make. Likewise, the month we have just entered into, the month of Mar Cheshvan, has the potential to be one of the most powerful months of our year.

Scorpio follows a month of incredible holidays when we stand at the precipice of a rebirth. In all new beginnings the Opponent waits at the door ready to jump in at the first sign that we will allow it. It whispers that it’s not a new beginning at all, that nothing has changed. Many of us may have even found ourselves already falling back into old patterns or behaviors.

But no one ever said we would become righteous after the holidays. No one said we wouldn’t fall. Falling is part of the process.

The most important thing to remember this month is: If you don’t believe in yourself, you’re inviting chaos into your life.

We will all have moments of negativity but the kabbalists teach that failure doesn’t make us any less capable of change. No matter what we’ve done, we are always capable, and anything is always changeable.

We have to believe in ourselves. If we believe we are garbage, we’ll attract more garbage into our lives. If we remember where we came from and therefore who we are – the Light! – we will attract more Light into our lives.

Still, it’s a consciousness that is easier said than done, I know. There may be moments this month when no matter how hard we try, we still just feel less than. In those moments, two things can help us.

1. Appreciation for the kabbalistic tools. Hold onto The Zohar and the 72 Names of God like there’s no tomorrow. If we increase our gratitude for these tools, we can increase our certainty that with them, we are with the Light – and there is nothing the Light cannot do.

2. The power of unity. Don’t spend too much time alone this month. The Zohar teaches that doing the right thing by yourself reveals less Light than a group of people doing the wrong thing together.

In the times we don’t feel so great, it’s with the consciousness of unity that everyone can be elevated.

If we are one soul, everyone is capable.

We had an amazing holiday and I hope you had a chance to be with us during the past month. It was uplifting and inspiring. We knew during the holidays that with the tools of Kabbalah and a consciousness of unity, we would conquer any fears and meet any challenges head on in the coming year.

Feeling that way at the beginning is good, but for lasting change we will have to keep that intention.

It might not be the easiest of times, but Scorpio is a month that will push us to become what we need to become if we let it.
