The environmental disaster unfolding in the Gulf of Mexico exposes the critical need for protection and healing of our ecosystems. Zohar Project teams from around the US are collaborating on a joint project to research and contact organizations along the Gulf coastline in order to donate Zohars. Organizations being offered Zohars include oil treatment stations, ports, vessels, coast guards, emergency workers, environmental agencies and others.

With over 50 miles of biologically rich waters on Louisiana’s coastline facing destruction, and concerns over the effects of leaked oil and chemical dispersal agents on our food and weather system, the race is on to avoid an environmental catastrophe.

In addition to sending Zohars to organizations related to the oil spill incident site, Zohar Project volunteers are planning unified Zohar scanning efforts. Just as the waters of the world are all connected, teams around the country will unite to meditate on the Pinchas Zohar portion at their local coastlines and waterways.
